Thank you from the Watoto Children's Choir!
Thank you to all who were able to attend the The Watoto Children’s Choir in Oak Bluff on March 31. We were all blessed by their incredible talent, their passion, and their love for Jesus.
Thank you to all who sponsored Watoto children, who purchased items in support of the Watoto Community program, and to all who gave generously in support of the Watoto work in Uganda. May you be richly blessed!
OBBC Care Groups
What is a care group? It is a safe and welcoming place where we meet in smaller groups on a regular basis for three purposes:
- To encourage one another as we grow in our relationship with Jesus
- To learn to pray for one another, and equally to learn how to receive prayer.
- To create a place where everyone can be encouraged by what God is doing in our lives, be uplifted, and even be carried through difficult times.
We hope you can will choose to make being part of a care group a priority in your life.
We currently have 2 care groups - one meeting on Friday evenings, and one meeting on Sunday evenings, both at 7pm. You are invited to join either one at any time.

MEXICO MISSION 2017 - MEET OUR FAMILIES
A week of hard work, and two families have received new forever homes! Several months ago we introduced you to the two families for whom we would be building homes. Now we are excited to share with you the summary video of our week created by the talented media team at Yugo Ministries.
Join us on Saturday evening January 27, 7pm at the Oak Bluff Community hall where we will be hosting a celebration evening. To say thank you to all of you who supported our work, the evening will be a FREE coffee and dessert evening. Come and see many more pictures and videos, and hear from members of the team share about their experience of serving God in a foreign country. We hope to see you there!
Operation Christmas Child - Thank You!
Thank you to everyone who filled a shoebox! We delivered a total of 131 boxes that are now on their way to the Canadian processing center, and then on to children around the world! You can learn more about the destinations for the Canadian shoeboxes, and see stories of how these boxes have changed the lives of children and families at samaritanspurse.ca/occ
A Christ-follower needs prayer like a car needs gas. It keeps our tank full with everything we need to live the life Jesus has planned for us.
On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month we meet at the OBBC office at 7:30pm for an evening of prayer. Everyone is welcome to join.
If you have a specific prayer need, you are invited to come and receive prayer. Alternatively, you can place your request in our prayer box that is available near the back of the sanctuary every Sunday. You may also call or email Pastor Troy or any of the leadership team.
